F.A.Q’s

  • Can I use prints we already have?
Yes, I can work with most prints in many different formats, including paint prints and ink prints. If you are unsure about the quality of the print and would like me to check this prior to ordering, please email me here.
  • How do I take prints and send these over to you?
A free print kit is included with all jewellery orders. I aim to send your print kit within two working days of your order, which will include full instructions and everything you need to take prints and return these to me. For printed personalised orders, you can choose to add a print kit onto your order.
  • Is there a minimum age, or maximum age limit, for taking prints?
Hand and footprint jewellery is perfect for all ages. From newborn babies, through to the elderly, with no upper age limit. Nobody is ever too old to capture their prints. Hand & footprints are carefully resized to fit the design you have chosen. For fingerprint jewellery I recommend babies are at least 6 months old to obtain a clear print. However, this can often vary and there have been many occasions where I have worked with baby prints much younger and had great results. If you would like to discuss this with me prior to ordering, or send me your prints to check, please email me here.
  • How long will my order take?
Please refer to the ‘Timescales’ tab for all turn-around times. This is located next to each product description and differs depending on the product design and type.  In general, handmade orders typically take around 28 days to complete. Engraved orders are around 14 days, and printed personalised items from 7-10 days. Please note, this may be longer during peak times.  If you need your order urgently, please contact me here prior to ordering.  If you need your order for a specific date, please add this to the notes section at checkout.
  • Will I see the design before it is printed or engraved?
I do not send out proof images as standard. However, if you would like to see a proof image of your design before it is printed, or engraved, please add a note to request this under the section ‘Additional information on design’ when you are ordering.
  • What happens to my prints when you have finished working with them?
A copy of your prints will be stored securely for three years. If you would like additional items using the same prints during this time you can re-order by selecting ‘you have my prints’.

  • Can I make changes to my order once it has been placed?
If you wish to cancel or amend your order, please do this within 48 hours of placing your order.  However, I will not be able to offer a refund if I have already commenced work.
